It’s Sunday, and Time to Reflect. How Do You Spend Your Weekend?
If you’re like most people, you have 2 days a week to spend with your family. No school and no work means that your spouse and kids (or most of your kids) are probably at home.
How do you spend your weekend? Are you taking advantage of this time together or scheduling errands, chores, and appointments? Or on the computer reading blogs?
You may notice we don’t post much on the weekends on our blogs because we figure people aren’t spending as much time on the computer. At least that was the reasoning we had… until we realized that we get almost as much traffic from readers on weekend days as weekdays! What does this mean?
I’m not going to tell you what choices to make, because everyone has different circumstances and priorities in their families. But today is Sunday, which got me thinking…
I hope you won’t blog as much today. I hope you won’t do as many chores and errands today. I hope you’ll take a few minutes for yourself today and spend a few minutes enjoying the togetherness of your family. Your family is here now, and we never want to take that gift for granted. The days are long but the years are short, and as sad as that cliche is, it’s also true.
Let us know how you spend your weekends in the comments below. Have a great Sunday!

I find Mondays a crazy ‘catch up’ day for me since on the Weekends I litterally do the bare minimum around the house! We try to spend it doing things together too. Sometimes I am on the computer but Monday is usually the day t catch up on everything in my reader too…

Our weekends are usually spent relaxing with extended family. On Friday nights, my husband and I are usually exhausted, so it’s our relax in front of the TV night. Sunday is church. We’re not on the computer nearly as much on the weekends.

Thanks for another great article! I make Sunday my offline only day (though I did cheat this week) I find this is an important topic, especially for other mommy bloggers. I started a series on it at MAHM, and I’d welcome any input from all of you with more experience than me. It’ s so great to have these resources available to help those of us just starting out.
